In 1961, Winona Ramsay along with her husband John and two sons, Martin (age 5) and Loren (age 3) designed a book.  Winona wrote the text.  John did the illustrations along with "help" from the boys.  The result was a single set of unbound pages that the family enjoyed for decades.

Finally, Winona and her family's work is available for everyone to enjoy in the delightful children's book, Leslie Macgoo Visits the Zoo.

Now in her 90s, Winona is the grandmother of six and the great-grandmother of 15.  She lives independently in a senior living community in Kentucky.
